Solid Surface PTC Heating Film for Energy Storage Batteries

The Solid Surface PTC Heating Film from YOTTECH is designed for energy storage battery applications where a compact heating element with a simple external connection arrangement is preferred. Its nearly square profile makes it suitable for consideration in battery assemblies with defined rectangular installation areas.

A distinguishing feature of this product is its continuous orange outer surface, which conceals the internal heating pattern. Unlike exposed-grid heating films, this design presents a smooth exterior without visible conductive tracks. A single connection tab extends from the upper edge, providing a designated interface for electrical connection.

The product can be incorporated into stationary battery systems that require supplemental heating during cold-weather operation. By using PTC self-regulating technology, the heating material responds to temperature changes and supports the management of battery heating conditions.

This configuration is particularly relevant when engineers need to consider the orientation of the heating sheet, the position of the connection tab and the available clearance around battery components. Its flat construction also allows the heating element to be evaluated for placement alongside suitable battery module surfaces.

For energy storage equipment manufacturers, YOTTECH offers customization options based on the required film dimensions, connection position and battery assembly layout. These considerations help adapt the heating element to different stationary energy storage designs without relying on a single standard configuration.
